Ty Capel Once upon a time there was a delightful serviced holiday apartment in an old chapel cottage in the Dyfi Biosphere area of Mid Wales.

We closed in August 2023 and our website finally expired in June 2025. Great times, great people, great memories. A delightful self-catering apartment in a former chapel cottage, adjacent to the now converted chapel.

TYCAPEL DOMAINS UP FOR GRABS

It's been some while since we posted here... we sold and finally left Ty Capel in August 2023, and the new owners do not wish to continue the holiday apartment.

Near the end of July 2025 the domains for our website will expire and we will not be renewing them.

The domains we hold are;
https://TyCapel.wales
https://TyCapel.cymru and
https://TyCapel.uk

We are offering to transfer them to anyone who has a legitimate interest in them, for example if you own one of the many other Ty Capels in Wales, and we will transfer them for FREE if you need them.

The email for these domains has already ceased, so please contact us via messenger and COMMENT on this post so we check the messages!!

You should contact us ASAP, at least a week before they expire on 29th July, to ensure smooth transfer to your domain host service. You will need to renew them once you have them, otherwise they will still expire on 29th July.

Get them now before some cybersquaters bag them and try to get $100+ each for them (allegedly that's what they're valued at).

Over the last few seemingly oh so short years, we hosted loads of lovely guests at Ty Capel. Many left little mementos and tagged our map board with their favourite places.

It’s been a fabulous adventure for us too, and we’re sad we’re bringing it to an end. New adventures beckon us, and we’ve bid farewell to our final guests at the weekend.

Ty Capel may reopen to guests again under new ownership, we’re not sure yet. We’ll let you know when we know.

After much soul searching we’ve decided it’s time for us to start a new adventure!

We still have some availability for bookings through to the end of July, but then we will be turning the page at the end of a fabulous chapter in our lives. We’re not presently sure if the new owner will continue to let out Tŷ Capel studio in the future, but will update here when we know more.
