📈 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.

Mortgage approvals rose to 63,531 in March, reaching their highest level since November 2025 and signalling continued demand from buyers. Despite higher mortgage rates and ongoing global uncertainty, approvals remain just 0.8% below this time last year.

Buyer activity is also holding steady, with new enquiries down only 2% year-on-year and many property professionals reporting confidence levels similar to those seen three months ago.

While buyers remain cautious, the market is proving to be more resilient than many expected.

The latest Rightmove House Price Index shows asking prices fell by 0.6% this month, marking the biggest June price drop in 14 years.
