Last Friday, Maidstone Homeless Care celebrated its 40th Anniversary.

In attendance with the team at the Day Centre was Mr Mayor, Brian Clark, Mrs Mayoress and selected members from the local community who have supported us over the years.

A lot of things have happened over the past 40 years and we have seen so many street homeless and vulnerable people during that time.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered, donated and contributed to our organisation. You all deserve a mention.

Here's to another 40 years.

Our guests at the Day Centre may come from different parts of the world, speak different languages and have different customs, but here at , everyone is welcome and we do our best to make our guests feel valued.

Yesterday, it was the birthday of Vlad, and although he does not speak much English, we hope he enjoyed his cake and had a great day.

❤This young lady is called Charley, and yesterday became our newest volunteer at the Day Centre as a hairderesser.

✂Charley has been cutting hair since she was 14, and in the past has travelled to London to cut the street homeless peoples hair there voluntarily.

Her comment after her first day really meant a lot to both the guests and staff - 'everyone was so nice and welcoming'

Hairdresser to the stars? You betcha, theyre our day centre guests.
