SFI26 Window 2 closed yesterday afternoon, less than six hours after opening, after the available funding was allocated.

We were shocked by how quickly the window closed. It was a hard and frustrating day, particularly for those farmers whose applications had been carefully prepared but could not be submitted before the funding was fully allocated.

We know how disappointing this will be for those affected, especially after the time and planning that had already gone into preparing applications.

We will be raising our concerns with MPs and the professional bodies we work with about the way Window 2 operated. Despite applications having been prepared in advance, problems with the Rural Payments Agency system appeared to prevent some management options from being selected, causing further delays.

We are contacting affected clients directly and will continue to keep them updated as further information becomes available.

SFI26 Window 2 CLOSED!

The second application window for the Sustainable Farming Incentive 2026 has opened and closed in around 6 hours!

A total of £233 million was available through Window 2.

Lovely to have supported the Burythorpe Village Scarecrow Festival at the weekend, raising funds towards the refurbishment of the village children’s play area.
