Last job before Christmas 🎅

A new customer, who had been let down by previous joiners, was desperate for a solution in her kitchen.

She had nowhere for her bins and didn't use the integrated freezer.

Therefore, I removed the integrated freezer and created a cupboard using 18mm Contiboard.

This then allowed me to fit the two bin pullout recycling system that was provided by the customer.

The cupboard to the left, was missing a shelf and had a loose hinge.

I supplied the shelf and fixed the hinge.

Last week's penultimate job before Christmas!

A customer, who I get a lot of work from, asked me for a solution to this boiler cupboard issue in one of her properties.

The way it had been done, by the previous owner, didn't allow the plumber to service the boiler.

We decided, the layout of the boiler and kitchen didn't really allow for such a bulky looking cupboard, so this was taken down.

The pipes running down the side of the boiler were hidden with a fixed piece of uPVC Fascia Cover Board. A removable cover using the same material was used to hide the pipes below the boiler.

This is easily removed to allow the boiler to be switched off at the mains or have the pressure checked or topped up.

The instruction was to supply and fit;

- 6 doors, with the furniture. The doors were from Howdens and were 3no. Prefinished Daytona Oak, 2no. Prefinished Glazed Daytona Oak and 1no. Holdenby White Primed. The handles were Manet.

- 2no. door casings.

- 3" Lambs Tongue MDF Architrave to 9 sides of the door frames and 7" Lambs Tongue MDF Skirting to the Landing, Hallway and as you come into the Kitchen.
