It is the FINAL week to send your existing tenants the new Information Sheet 2026
All tenants currently in tenancies that existed before the 1st May 2026 need to be issued the Information Sheet by Sunday, 31st May.

Failure to do so could lead to fines of up to £7,000.

If you are currently with a Letting Agent, check they have served the document for you! If you are a landlord managing your own property/properties, ensure you have served the document, this can be found on GOV.UK

The Renters' Rights Act is rolling out in three phases - and the first major change landed on 1st May❗

▪️All tenancies are now periodic
▪️There are new rules on advance rent and guarantors
▪️Possession grounds have now changed
▪️Tenants rights to have pets have changed
▪️There is now a ban on rental bidiing
▪️There is now a ban on discrimination
▪️Local authorities now have more power
