HI GUYS 👋🏻

Here’s a 3 story hall, stairs and landing on a new build estate for a lovely family that have used me several times for different jobs, that had suffered from a lot of shrinkage and movement cracks and discoloured woodwork so it needed A LOT of fine detailed preparation before I even started to decorate it to get it to showroom condition but the extra time and effort it takes always shows in the finish product 👌🏻

I have done so much work for this lovely family that when it came round to the last room in their house they didn’t hesitate to ask me to do their kitchen renovation for them, just look at that outcome though!
1- Ripped the old kitchen and woodwork out.
2- Boarded and plastered the ceiling.
3- Plastered the ceiling and walls.
4- Fit new skirting boards and door architraves.
5- Moved the pipework around to the new sink position so they could have a dishwasher.
6- Installed their new kitchen and splash back including around the boiler to match.
7- Fit the new sink, tap and dishwasher.
8- Painted the ceiling, walls and woodwork.
9- Hung the new tv on the wall.

A lot of work for one person but got there in the end and they couldn’t be more pleasant people to work for 😊

Hi Guys 👋🏻

This is my first media wall I’ve done in a while and it’s been my pleasure to transform their front room for them.
Back when I started for myself they was one of the first to use me for fine detailing painting and papering their feature wall in their lounge and have used me many times since working through their home and it’s so SO appreciated ❤️ especially with them being such a lovely family to work.
They was so happy with the finish they wouldn’t let me do it a bit cheaper as a thankyou to them for being so loyal over the years and gave me a bottle of whiskey and a £200 tip!! A lovely feeling when you know how much your clients appreciate your hard work you do 😊
Most you guys know the level of detail I put into my work, I’m proud of most my jobs I do but this one’s a show stopper. Thankyou everyone for your constant work ☺️

1- I channeled the wall and ran the power cables to the three double sockets behind the tv ready for the electrician to come and connect and sign off.
2- I channeled the wall and ran the broadband cable and aerial point to behind the tv.
3- I built the media wall, installed the stunning 3 glass sided fire place, plastered the channels I’d made to hide the cables in the wall then plastered the media wall.
4- I fit the new skirting board to match the existing.
5- I painted the media wall and skirting boards
6- I re-papered the new alcoves in the same paper they previously had that I papered the wall in years ago because they still loved it.
7- I fit the tv to the wall on a pull/swing out bracket so very easily accessible to get behind the tv to get to the broadband and sky box along with the sockets in seconds.

HI GUYS 👋🏻

I had the pleasure of transforming the home of one of my oldest friends that I met as a little boy when we lived opposite each other and first started playing out and been friends ever since. They have always used me for any work they have done and fitting their kitchen was my first ever job when I started my own business ❤️
To say their home is now Instagram/pintrest ready is an understatement 😍 I’m super proud of this job 😊
It was a big job to take on by myself but I got there in the end, please read description below 😃

HALL / STAIRS AND LANDING :

-Stripped 6 layers of old wallpaper.
-Plastered the 3 main walls, lining papered the rest.
-Custom made the entire wooden paneling from scratch with planks of wood to get the depth, picture rail to run around the top and dado rail to give the detail around the internal of each square, theyve never had paneling before so they was over the moon with it.
-Painted the ceilings.
-Painted the walls.
-Painted the woodwork.

LOUNGE :

-Stripped all the plaster off the walls back down to bare brick.
-Plastered all the walls.
-Painted the walls.
-Painted the woodwork.

DINING ROOM :

-Stripped all the plaster off the walls back down to bare brick.
-Uncovered a hidden alcove that had previously been boarded over that my clients didn’t know was there to fit a custom built wine rack and logs in the bottom half.
-Plastered all the walls.
-Painted all the walls.
-Painted all the woodwork.

Hi Guys 👋🏻

It’s the first time this absolutely lovely family have had me in their truly show stopping home as the man of the house is a very particular engineer so likes to do things himself so he doesn’t end up disappointed but didn’t want to tackle a job on their hall stairs and landing scale.
I was told this morning by his wife that he told her last night
“great job on finding James he’s the best tradesman I’ve ever come across”
that coming from somebody that runs a company full of engineers just makes the effort I put in all feel worthwhile, never mind the very very generous tip they gave me when I finished today ❤️
When your customers trust you to to do multiple trade jobs on their homes because they know it may take longer but they know the finish will be worth the wait it’s such a big pride boost for someone that takes as much pride in their work as I do.

Staircase.
1 - I took all the old lightweight white doors off in the hall stairs and landing and fitted some new very heavy superb quality oak doors, fixtures and fittings so the doors matched their truly stunning staircase.
2 - Painted the ceilings and woodwork.
3 - Papered the walls in a glittery hessian wallpaper.

Dining room.

•marble fleck tile
Very much needed to carry on the superior standard and class that runs right throughout their amazing home.
This is the downstairs toilet I did for some of my longest known favourite clients that have used me ever since I first worked for them in my mid teens as an apprentice ❤️ then just as much as now never let me cut myself short when I try to work a bit cheaper for them for being such loyal customers as they really appreciate the level I get the finish of my work.
This job I plastered the ceiling and walls, tiled the feature wall, then painted the ceiling, walls and woodwork.

I tiled this family’s bathroom a couple of years ago.
Recently they asked me back to change their worktops from dark brown wood effect to this stunning much more modern light grey square edge worktop with breakfast bar and half wall top cill, and a new matt black sink and tap.

To most tradesmen nothings more important than loyal customers and this lovely family used me before they went and a lot of times since they have just moved back into their uk home after a spell working in Dubai.
It really means a lot when clients can step back and appreciate the effort you put in to get the jobs you do as near perfect as possible ❤️

I really enjoyed doing this job for a lovely couple in my family it really was my pleasure 😊
This is the most curved out of level floors I’ve ever come across over such a short space.
Previously when they had their new bathroom fitted they had Lino down as a quick fix to get over the out of level floor but you could see and feel it massively when walking across it so they got me in to finish the bathroom floor off properly by ply boarding the floor over the wobbly floor boards then tile the floor perfectly level with these absolutely stunning tiles that are really fitting with their style of house.
The difference it made to the feel of the bathroom was lovely 😊

Around Christmas time is normally when I tend to get a run of loft boarding jobs as people realise they need to gain as much storage space in their houses as possible.
It makes such a huge difference being able to easily climb up some ladders and move around freely safe and sound, the space you gain for the price you pay makes everyone wish they’d done it sooner 👍🏻😊
