Looking forward to speaking at National Residential Landlords Association - NRLA Connect on Monday 15th June at St James’ Park.

It’s always great to be returning to one of my favourite cities in the UK, Newcastle 🌆

The city has a great property community and some of the most engaged landlords and investors you’ll meet anywhere in the country.

🎤 I’ll be discussing “The £16k Problem” and the growing cost of vacant possession delays for landlords, alongside some of the wider trends we’re seeing across the private rented sector 🤔

Great way to start the week after spending some quality time away with the family ☀️

While I’ve been recharging, the team at Landlord Property Exchange⁠ have been busy behind the scenes, and its great to share that we’ve agreed the sale of a portfolio of 14 HMOs representing 51 tenancies across the area 🔑

A special mention to Alex Gorji and Abigail Biggs 👏 who have shown great teamwork throughout this deal.

Deals of this size and complexity are never straightforward, with multiple properties, stakeholders and moving parts to coordinate.

It’s another positive step forward for LP Exchange as we continue connecting landlords and investors through off-market opportunities 📈

Last Thursday was one of those days that reminds you why you do it 😊

The Landlord Property Exchange team were out in at the National Residential Landlords Association - NRLA Connect joining hundreds of landlords, investors and property professionals for a great day of networking and discussion. 🙌

There was a real sense of positivity in the room, with plenty of conversations about the future of the private rented sector and the opportunities ahead!!

So proud of the team and everything we’ve achieved over the last 12 months 👏🚀

That feeling just before you step onto a stage in front of nearly 400 landlords, investors and property professionals… 🎤

Great to speak last week at the National Residential Landlords Association - NRLA London Connect about how quickly the property sector is changing and the growing shift towards landlord-to-landlord transactions🏡

One of the biggest reactions from the room came when discussing the potential £16k+ cost landlords could now face through voids, delays, refurbishments and lost rent when selling vacant 📉

The conversations afterwards were just as valuable as the presentation itself - lots of landlords actively looking at smarter and more strategic ways to buy, sell and restructure portfolios 🤝

Good to be at the NRLA Connect event last Thursday and catch up with landlords, investors and people across the sector actually dealing with the market day to day.

A lot of the conversations weren’t really about “doom and gloom” or panic around legislation either. More about adapting, understanding where the opportunities are and making smarter long term decisions.

Always useful hearing what people are seeing on the ground and where sentiment really is heading.

It felt like half of Manchester and Liverpool’s professional services sector were all in one place 🍻🏇
