Constructeco is often asked how does Steel Frame compliance differ from conventional housing projects. The answer is relatively simple. It differs very little and the process is almost identical. Everyone wants safe good quality buildings and just like conventional buildings Steel frame buildings must use quality materials when constructing houses. This is where British Standards are in place to protect us against inferior quality products. Many people recognise CE marks or Kite marks as they may be referred to. All materials whether UK made or not must pass the quality test. Constructeco only use BS EN1090 steel . Most of our other products will be exactly the same as conventional build houses here in UK such as wiring, heating, and flooring etc. All of these things are checked by Building Control Officers to ensure the level of quality. Once they pass a building it then becomes mortgage able and insurable just like conventional build houses. Our houses also have same warranty as conventional build houses even though arguably they are stronger and are built to hurricane and earthquake standard. Constructeco use NHBC equivalent warranty providers such as Aedis https://www.aedis.com/ and Build Safe to ensure our quality and indeed provide a full 10 year warranty just like conventional build houses. So rest assured the future is steel.
