Last Tuesday, our Liverpool team attended Bruntwood SciTech and INNSiDe’s “Meet Your Neighbour” Event at the impressive Sky Bar on Old Hall Street.
 
Black Cats, Brett Lea and Emma Harwood, were asked to present a short introduction of Black Cat to the group, which sparked plenty of conversation afterwards such as:
 
⏹ How we do things a little differently as a business;
⏹ Why we go to new lengths to understand the sectors we work in; and
⏹ Our ambitions to enhance the Building Consultancy market with our presence in the Merseyside and Liverpool City region for current and future clients
 
We will be at plenty more of these types of events in the coming months…so come and say hi if you see us!

We asked a few of the team to write down "Why" they joined Black Cat and more importantly "Why" they continue to work with us.

The response has been amazing. We have a brilliant group of senior experienced people, and we love working with them openly and transparently.

In our first update, Lisa shares her “Why’s”… Lisa has been with Black Cat for five years in our Bristol office and we LOVE having her around, as do her clients.

Last Thursday, the team took to the crease and faced a few balls in a friendly game of cricket with Ellandi! 🏏

Thanks for a great evening, and superb to see everyone there; let’s not mention the final score – other than it’s all even, with everything to play for.

Everyone had a blast, with some great pictures to show for it!

If anyone else fancies a 20/20 evening, we are always up for some more games!

Great night last night, was lovely to see two of our clients' assets be nominated at the Insider NW Property Awards!

🔹 The Net Zero Carbon recycling of Solar 120 was nominated for the Purpose-led Innovation Award

Just 16 hours away from the SameYou cycle start, we have had a quick catch up to the guys relaxing & hydrating in Talamanca!

The team have been fundraising for the charity, raising over £11,000 collectively. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped us double our target.

Tune in at 0930hrs tomorrow, where we will get to see them geared up and ready to go along with everyone else taking part! 🚴‍♀️

We’ve let the cake settle, we will be crowning four winners this year! 🎉⏬

Joe's rocky road was so delicious that he won the vote in London! Sparking a debate on baking by the team members, as to quote it ‘ only involved melting stuff’. However, he still rose through the judgement and won on both presentation and tasting in London!! 😲

In Manchester, for the second year in a row… Beckie has won best-tasting with a huge spin – Sausage Rolls! A massive hit as the spread on the table was heavy on the sweet, well done Beckie 😊

In a turn of events, we had two winners for the best-looking crown 👑. Ian made an enormous oreo chocolate cheesecake, and Alex made a beautiful peanut butter cake which we were told he individually glazed and roasted each nut by hand 🤐

The team in Bristol (it had to be Bristol) were far too diplomatic this year and couldn’t decide who was a winner, but all of their bakes looked absolutely amazing!!

Well done everybody, and cheers to another year of Black Cat Bake Off! 🍰

It’s the Black Cat Bake Off🎂

Here we are again for the third time, getting together in the offices across the UK this time for SameYou Charity!

Seeing everyone join in and get their bake on was lovely. We’ve had such a variety (our best ever), including sausage rolls this time!

Thanks to the chocolate, we will be bouncing off the walls for the next few days.
