🌿 Festival of Nature Ramble 🌿

Yesterday we closed the festival with our guided Sunday ramble through the Suffolk countryside closing at Frankie's ☀️

Stunning sunshine
Big open views
Tasty homemade treats
And a group of women walking, laughing and swapping stories along the way 🍂

Friendships were forming with every mile 💛 my heart is full!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a joyful finish to a fantastic event with Suffolk Wildlife Trust 🦡

A winter walk along the Essex Way, woven with the dark, witchy history of the land beneath our boots 🌑

We’ll wander old paths and hear the tales that still linger in these woods and hedgerows 🌲

Then we’ll gather round the campfire to share stories, warm our hands & refuel around the the fire we built together 🔥

🚂 Discovery the beauty of the River Stour from foot & by train achieving This point 2 point micro-adventure

🍄 Slow down and look closer 🍄

The best bits of a walk often show up when we stop rushing.

It’s mushroom season, and the woods are full of them 🍂

A curled fern unfurling 🍃
A feather caught on a bramble 🪶
Moss glowing after the rain 💚
A perfect acorn cap 🌰

Notice the textures and colours: velvety caps, frilly gills, splashes of orange and purple. You don’t have to eat them to enjoy them.

Please do your research before you pick or eat anything. Looking is always safe 🤍

So next time you’re out, try a slower pace. Pause, crouch down, look up. See what finds you.

You don’t need a whole week away to feel like you’ve been somewhere.

🌕 Full Moon Ramble 🌕

This Saturday the Harvest Moon rises, and we’d love you to walk beneath it with us.

Moonlight making the river sparkle 🌊
The sweet smell of pine trees in the cool evening air 🌲
Fields, hedgerows and the quiet hum of dusk 🍂
Time to slow down, breathe away any fear and simply be outside together.
Challenge your self but remember you are not alone 🌿

No experience needed. Just comfy layers, sturdy shoes and a torch if you have one. Small group, friendly pace, all women welcome 💛

Today’s Festival of Nature ramble was pure magic 🌿

We made new friends, spotted flora and fungi along the way 🍄 and picked up some fascinating local history while slowing down and settling into nature.

It was also a joy to support a great cause, helping raise awareness of the benefits of stepping into the natural world 💚

Finishing our ramble in the gorgeous Frankie's is always a special treat!
