Big family gatherings are the point of this Sheepscombe cottage: six bedrooms, four bathrooms and room for twelve, with a vaulted oak ceiling over the living space and a hot tub in the garden. The village has its own pub, the Butcher's Arms, and Painswick with its 99 yew trees is two miles off. Walk a mile to Slad, Laurie Lee's village, or climb Painswick Beacon for views across the Severn Vale.
