Rachael's penthouse apartment in London is a wonderful size, holds so much potential and has the most incredible views overlooking the river however over time she had dropped 100k from her original asking price.

First impressions of the occupied apartment were a little dated and the property needed some TLC. My goal was to find solutions that cost the least amount of money but would give Rachael the biggest bang for her buck.

It's hard to look at the home you've lived in and loved through a potential buyer's eyes but, with a sprinking of staging magic, I'll hold your hand through the process making sure your home sells for its maximum value.

How to integrate Pantone Color of the Year 2023, Viva Magenta, when staging your home.

🍒Magenta is a rich, luxurious shade that falls somewhere between red and pink and between warm and cool. I’ve cherry picked some examples including this delicious but tricky colour.🍒

I'm obsessed with Tom Ford's eye for detail. One of my favourite visual treats is the house from A Single Man. Every scene was so beautifully filmed.

It certainly didn’t hurt that it was shot in a John Lautner designed modernist house in California. Tom Ford wanted to outfit the inside of the house with authentic 1960s furnishings. He even considered and imagined what his protagonist would have stored in drawers and out of shot places. The results were stunning and meticulous, just like the film.

I love creating aspirational characters when I'm staging and decorate spaces based on their imagined daily lives. It's all in the detail.

I've been hanging up and drying out big, blousy Hydrangea heads this morning. Placed in a vase and propped up on a few books, they make for a beautiful staging addition... Delivering instant glamour in the most delicious shades.
