“If peaceful was a place, is it Acorn glade and the owners have such a special place in our hearts. There is a ‘feeling’ here, that ive never experienced anywhere I’ve been. I’m not sure if it’s the birds, the trees, the lake or all of the above, but there’s pure magic here. Wendy & Andrew, the owners, are such beautiful souls.
We’ve never felt as comfortable and taken care of by hosts before. It was such an honour to be able to write & play music, then see my beautiful products sitting proudly on their shelves. If you stay anywhere this autumn/ winter, let it be this place. Go experience the magic for yourself. Lay In a hammock, read a book by the lake, switch off and just BE + Oh and maybe enjoy products in the bathrooms too

Then there’s finding the magical combination of peaceful countryside and daytime adventures to be had.

Acorn Glade offers you both. The luxury of waking up to birdsong, reflections on the lake and a gentle start to day. Our local knowledge will point you in the right direction (best places to eat off the beaten track) wonderful city tours and even ghostly ones.
After that day of new experiences , returning back to light the fire pit, watching the last of the evening light on the lake and sipping hot chocolate, chatting about what you’ve seen before snuggling up in a super comfy bed in your log cabin. You’ll probably have the best nights sleep after such a lovely day.
