BEHIND THE TRADE 👷🏻‍♂️

Meet Foley:

carpenter, coffee addict and self-confessed “pop master” on site 🎵

With over 20 years in the trade, Foley’s worked on everything from stud work to shop fronts and has become a huge part of the Highfield projects across Merthyr.

His favourite thing about the job?
“No two days are the same.”

One project that stands out to him is Coco’s, where he hand built the furniture and coffee counter from scratch, something he said was a real challenge but incredibly rewarding once finished.

When he’s not on site, Foley’s a chilled out family man who enjoys swimming and spending time with his wife Taryn and their two daughters.

Big progress over at Clare Street recently 👷🏻‍♂️

Concrete has now been poured to create the foundations for the new house; a huge step in the project and the start of seeing the development properly come to life.

Once the foundations have fully set, work can begin from ground level and the next stage of the build can get underway.

Highfield Property Group is a fast-growing property company with a mixed portfolio across residential, commercial, and development projects.

The Role

We’re looking for someone to take ownership of our marketing and help bring our projects to life.

You’ll be working on real, live projects — not just posting for the sake of it.

We’re also looking for someone who is keen to understand the Highfield brand and the company’s wider objectives, and reflect this consistently across all marketing output.

This role goes beyond traditional property marketing. You’ll lead brand and marketing across the full Highfield Group, from property and holiday homes to new ventures like our upcoming launderette. It’s a hands-on opportunity to build and shape multiple brands as they grow

What You’ll Be Doing
• Social media management
• Property content creation
• Development marketing support
• Copywriting
• Brand building
• Idea generation

What We’re Looking For
• Interest in marketing/property
• Strong communication
• Proactive attitude
• Independent working

Clare Street Garages | Site Update

With the ground excavated and steel reinforcement installed, the concrete is now being poured to form the foundations for the garage bases and the retaining wall that will support the surrounding ground.

This stage is a key part of the build, creating the solid structural platform the garages will sit on. Once the concrete has cured, works will move on to constructing the blockwork retaining wall and the garage structures themselves.
