Following a period of expansion, we are pleased to announce the reopening of our order books. We are now exclusively focusing on bespoke staircases to ensure each client receives the dedicated attention their project deserves.

SJM Joinery specializes in transforming dream staircases into reality. We design, manufacture, and install a wide range of bespoke staircases, from simple straight flights to complex curved designs incorporating glass elements.

Our comprehensive balustrade options, including handrails, newel posts, caps, base rails, and a variety of spindles, perfectly complement our staircases and cater to both traditional and contemporary aesthetics.

A site visit will be conducted by a member of our team to assess your existing staircase and discuss your project requirements. Upon completion of manufacture, our installation team will remove your existing and install your new, custom-designed dream staircase.

Position Overview: As a Multi-Skilled Operative, you will play a crucial role in our busy maintenance and construction projects. Your diverse skill set will be utilized across various tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: • Perform flooring, painting and carpentry tasks as required.

• Contribute to the completion of maintenance and construction projects efficiently.

• Work across different regions typically south yorkshire and the midlands

Working within a dynamic team to achieve project goals.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in flooring, painting and carpentry.
• CSCS card (preferable but not essential)and a valid driving license are essential.
• Ability to adapt to different tasks and challenges.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Joiner/Multi-skilled trades person, must be able to carry joinery and basic maintenance tasks to a high standard. Joinery level 2/ 3 required. Must be prepared to travel and occasionally staying away from home. A polite, well mannered person with a positive work ethic is a must! Qualifications in a specific trade and a CSCS is desired but not essential. Driving licence required. We will require a DBS check also which we will arrange.
