The name Coel Na Mara comes from Gaelic and means ‘music of the sea’ and when you visit, you’ll see why. isure centre/swimming pool. Just 15 minutes drive from the ferry terminals for the Shetland Mainland, Unst and Fetlar, it makes an ideal, central base for exploring the islands. Yell itself has much to offer too, whether your passion is wildlife, birdlife, otters, fishing, walking or you just want to enjoy some solitude and get away from it all. Community events held throughout the year will give you a true taste of Yell hospitality and visitors are warmly welcomed. We currently hold a three star rating under the Visitscotland accreditation scheme.
