Part 4...we making some serious progress! Its slowly coming together and it's starting to look like a home.

We painted the feature wall, got told off by my mum, fixed the skirting boards, did some decorative things and only got paint on 2 of my tops this time...overall, this was pretty successful!!

I've acquired the diet of a construction worker and the diabetes and b**r belly is pending...

Part 3… turns out renovating a house is basically just painting absolutely fu***ng everything. 😂🎨

Spent the day getting stuck into the painting — and slowly watching the place lose its “house I grew up in” look and start becoming something new.

Progress? Slow.
Paint everywhere? Absolutely.
Regrets? Ask me again when my back stops aching 😂

I got stuck into painting the kitchen cabinets 🎨, while Dad and my little brother made a start on the garden.

Still a LOT to do, but it’s actually so good having the family involved in the process. ❤️

This is Part 1 of renovating the house I grew up in.

First job: sanding, stripping and slowly figuring out what the hell I’m doing. 😂

There’s a LOT to change, but I’m actually buzzing to see what we can turn this place into.

And because apparently I don’t have enough things going on, I’ve decided to renovate the bloody thing. 😂

This is the starting point — no filters, no fancy staging, just how it looks before I get my hands on it.

• Kitchen designed for “just one drink” that somehow turns into tequila shots, bad decisions and someone crying about their ex at 2am 😭

• Garden built for BBQs that start civilised and end with people arguing over who's controling the music 🎶🫵

• Bedrooms big enough for dramatic exits like you’re starring in the Love Island villa 📺

• Living room giving “luxury family home” but also “why is there a random bloke asleep on the sofa?” 🛋️

• Parking situation strong enough for everyone’s mates + their mates + somehow a white van nobody recognises....👀

• Overall vibe: classy on Rightmove, absolute scenes on a Saturday night 🍾

147 Whalley Drive is FINALLY done… and honestly, I deserve a medal for emotional endurance alone 🫠

This one was chilling on the market with another agent for nearly a YEAR. I stepped in, switched things up, and had it sold within 2 weeks like it was a Black Friday deal.

Simple, right?
Wrong.

Fast forward 7 months… SEVEN… and we’ve just about managed to drag it over the finish line.

At this point I’m 99% sure the solicitors were communicating via pigeons, owls, maybe even smoke signals on windy days 🕊️🔥 Communication levels: prehistoric.

BUT… we got there.

Huge congrats to both buyer and seller for sticking it out through the chaos, the delays, and whatever that process actually was.

Moral of the story:
Selling it is the easy part… surviving the solicitors is the real sport.

Anyway — who’s next? 😌
