We are delighted to share a significant milestone with our community……

After years of careful planning and dedication, we have finally been granted planning permission for The Old Ropey.

This historic building holds a unique place in our local heritage, and it has always been our intention to honour its character while thoughtfully reimagining its future.

We are pleased to announce that the space will be transformed into an elegant yoga studio and a refined hairdressing salon, both designed to offer a calm, elevated experience centred on wellbeing.

We now look forward to the next chapter, sensitively restoring this remarkable building and bringing a new, carefully considered space to life, for all to enjoy.

Permission to redevelop listed buildings on the historic Bents Road site was granted after developers produced a detailed travel plan.

The town of Montrose is only a 2 mile walk away with an array of restaurants, shops & bars to enjoy. Montrose also has a fantastic bus & train links to Aberdeen/Edinburgh/ Glasgow/Dundee/Broughty Ferry/Stonehaven.
