With Easter weekend approaching, it’s notoriously very difficult to get out and view properties.

I’ll never forgot my first valuation being self employed. It was Easter Sunday afternoon. Beautiful Β£500,000 cottage in Cartmel. I had it go live that evening and viewings booked in for the next day which was also a bank holiday.

I had more viewings later on that week and managed to agree the sale for Β£520,000. The vendors were absolutely delighted as well as the people who managed to view on the bank holiday Monday.

I’ve said before how much I love my Sunday viewings & bak holiday appointments. It’s not just because the majority of other agents don’t do them. It’s because I love to go above and beyond what people expect from estate agents.
