Maybe you can feel it starting already, that shift where the evenings pull in a bit earlier and you want a blanket rather than the fan on. 🔥

Our wood burner's always ready to go, and there's a corner of the sofa that's basically made for a book and a cup of tea once the fire's on. We have availability in September and October, but be quick as between season slots book up fast.

There's a stretch of footpath near Naseby that catches the light just right of an evening, and if you've got a dog with you it's about as good as it gets. 😌

We're in one of those bits of Leicestershire that most people drive straight past without knowing it's there. If your dog's the sort that needs a proper walk rather than a quick trot round the block, you're in the right part of the world and we'd love to welcome you.

If you've never sat by Naseby Reservoir Official Page with a pair of binoculars you're missing out, especially at this time of year. We've had ospreys from Rutland Water (which still feels like a bit of a novelty!), wood sandpipers, Artic terns, egrets and pied flycatchers all on its shores.

It's a lovely walk from the cabin or a short drive if you fancy taking it easy, and even if you don't spot anything feathered it's just a really peaceful spot to sit for a bit. And if fishing is your thing, you can buy a day permit and set up camp.

Waters Edge and Welford Christmas Tree Farm are part of the same family, so it's always worth a look to see what's on if you're in the area.

If you're bringing children along to the cabin this summer, we have a fabulous fun day on 16th August and you'd be very welcome! Slides, face painting, animals and more, it's free entry and guaranteed smiles all round. 😊

You don't have to leave if you don't want to! Our kitchen is fully kitted out, so if you're the sort of group that wants a big home cooked dinner rather than eating at the pub every night, you can!

There's a telly for catching up on boxsets, speakers that connect straight to your phone, a lovely living area to sink into, and the patio with the hot tub sitting right outside whenever you fancy it. Arrive Friday, leave Sunday, never set foot off the property in between. We won't tell! 🤫

Pop this one in the diary! We've got live music Christmas Tree Farm barn on Friday 22nd August, 6 till 9, and honestly, it's shaping up to be a fabulous evening!

There's a bar on all night, a glass of Merry Tom included on arrival, and if you think you'll be peckish, the grazing board is well worth the extra (we're biased but trust us!).

Tickets are £10pp, and every single one gets you entry into the raffle. Bring some friends, grab a spot on the decking as the sun goes down, and let the music do the rest.

Fifteen minutes from Waters Edge and you're in Market Harborough, which we will recommend to anyone at any opportunity because it deserves it!

Lovely independent shops, good food places, streets that are enjoyable to just wander round on a Saturday. If you're staying with us and fancy a change of scenery for a couple of hours, this is where we'd say to go!
