Topping Out at Bulmer House, Petersfield

A fantastic milestone for our team at Bulmer House, where we recently joined Housing 21 and project partners to mark the topping out of this important Extra Care development.

Feltham Construction is proud to be delivering 56 affordable Extra Care apartments for older people, designed to support independent living with accessible homes, on-site care and community facilities.

It was great to bring everyone involved in the project together to celebrate the progress made so far and recognise the hard work of our site team, supply chain and project partners.

We look forward to continuing the journey and seeing Bulmer House take shape over the coming months.

Taking shape at The Hexagon, Reading!

Work is progressing on the new podium connection, linking the new Studio Theatre with Queen’s Walk.

The podium will provide level, step-free access to the venue while creating a more welcoming approach to the new Studio Theatre.

It’s great to see another important part of this exciting project taking shape as we continue towards completion in Spring 2027.

We are delighted to have secured two exciting projects for the University of Oxford under the MIF Framework – Manor Road Library Refurbishment & Littlemead Office Refurbishment.

These projects represent another fantastic opportunity for us to work alongside one of the world’s leading universities, delivering high-quality refurbishment works within important and well-established Oxford facilities.

We look forward to getting both projects underway and working closely with the University of Oxford and the wider project teams to deliver successful outcomes, building on our strong reputation for quality, collaboration and excellence in construction.

Team Feltham swapped construction sites for the football pitch last week!

We were delighted to take part in Gleeds mixed 7-a-side tournament in Oxford, joining teams from across the industry for an afternoon of friendly competition and fundraising.

The event was held in support of The Mulberry Bush, a charity providing specialist therapeutic care and education to children and families affected by trauma.

Well done to our players for representing Feltham, and congratulations to everyone who helped make the tournament happen. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon for a very deserving cause! 👏

A Saturday well spent on the Thames!

This weekend some of the team headed to beautiful Henley-on-Thames for a staff social and we certainly picked the right day for it!

Great weather, beautiful surroundings, a few drinks and, most importantly, the chance to switch off and enjoy some time together away from the office and our sites.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a brilliant afternoon. It’s always good to get the team together and enjoy the company of the people who make Feltham what it is.

We’re delighted to share the completion of Fyfield Road in Andover, delivering two new industrial warehouse buildings totalling approximately 2,500m².

The development provides purpose-built production and storage facilities, with mezzanine areas to both warehouses and a covered link connecting the two buildings.

The new production facility has also been designed to accommodate a new bottling line, requiring close coordination with the specialist installation team throughout the project.

Alongside the buildings, our works included new infrastructure, hard landscaping and associated external works to complete the development.

It’s fantastic to see the finished result and another high-quality industrial project successfully handed over by the Feltham team.

Our team took part in the first of a series of Passive Fire Protection CPD sessions being delivered by Adrian Paynter of Quelfire.

A big thank you to Adrian for sharing his expertise and to all of our colleagues who attended, both in person and virtually.

The session reinforced the critical role of passive fire protection, from compartmentation and service penetrations to the importance of test evidence, certification and quality installation.

Our key takeaway was the importance of engaging the right specialists early in the project lifecycle. Early collaboration leads to better planning, reduced risk and, ultimately, safer buildings.

At Feltham Construction, we take passive fire protection seriously and remain committed to improving our knowledge, raising standards and delivering safer, compliant buildings.
