Over the next few days, we’re handing the brushes over to our improvers. 👊

Working alongside our qualified decorators, they’ll be properly supervised, mentored and shown how to apply different finishes correctly not just told to “have a go”.

We’ll also be covering the details that make a big difference on exterior work, including the correct use of exterior fillers and flexible caulks, why they’re used and how they help prevent cracking and premature failure.

Good decorators aren’t made overnight. They’re taught properly, given the right guidance and expected to understand the reasons behind the products and systems they’re using.

We’re investing in our own team, building their skills and making sure the standards stay high as they progress.

11 YEARS AGO… WHERE IT ALL STARTED! 💛🖤

This was the very first van for the business and, believe it or not, I swapped our family car for it.
At the time, I could never have imagined where that decision and this little van would eventually take us.
No big fleet. No fancy setup. Just a van, a lot of determination and a willingness to work hard and build something from the ground up.

11 years later, the business has grown beyond anything I could have imagined back then.

There have been plenty of long days, early mornings, late nights, risks, setbacks and lessons along the way, but I wouldn’t change the journey.

That decision to back myself has shaped my life, my family and everything we’ve built since.
Everyone starts somewhere… this was our somewhere. ❤️

Exterior works commenced in Market Drayton 🎨

Another sizeable exterior project now underway for the team.

There’s plenty of preparation required on this one, with aged and failing coatings across sections of the property needing to be properly dealt with before we move through the decorating process.

For the masonry we’ll be using Wethertex AP77 Flexible Smooth Masonry Paint, providing a high-performance, breathable and flexible finish suited to this type of exterior.

The lads have made a good start and, with a bit of decent weather on our side, this one should make for a cracking transformation.

We’ll share the finished results once complete.

🎥 St John Fisher Catholic College Project Complete

Another summer project wrapped up and handed over.
Our team completed redecoration works across the Romero Building, including corridors, canteen and main hall, along with the Sienna Corridor.

A great effort from the lads getting everything completed to a high standard and ready for the new term.

Proud of the finish, proud of the team and onto the next one. 👏
