FOREST HALL UPDATE. DOUBLE STOREY REAR EXTENSION

Ceiling framed and structured in as a new upper floor ✅
Joists and nogging put in to strengthen upper floor to hold weight ✅
Plaster stripped off wall ✅
11mm OSB boards to go in with 22mm moisture resistant boards to match exiating floor height ✅
Soil stact been took out as getting relocated ✅
All pumbing alterations have also been
done and notched into ceiling ✅

Just need hangers on the joists now to support and strengthen the joists abd noggings abit more 👌💯

FOREST HALL UPDATE - DIUBLE STOREY EXTENSION

first lot of steels inserted yesterday ✅
Padstones put in underneath to support the steels ✅
Bolts all put in to tie both steels together ✅
Plaster knocked off kitchen wall ready for padstones and steels to go in ✅

Now on to bracing up all the floor up on monday adding more noggings and joists to strengthing the upper floor as just acting as part of a ceiling for now.

Once thats sorted the other 4 steels cam be inserted and floor boards can go down 😀

Then we can start building the upper floor extension.

The lads are fying 🧱🧱🧱

We've had a few delays and set backs but nothing that can be fixed or sorted from us lot 👌💯

It will neee to be disposed properly to a waste yard.

Just vans out of service at the minute so cant do the tip runs myself.

FOREST HALL UPDATE - DOUBLE STOREY REAR EXTENSION AND RENOVATION.

Stairsway and landed carpets all covered up and tape to prevent and dust or dirt ✅
Bricks popped out upstairs to create a hole for upper floor internal doorway and to find heights for the upper floor extension ✅
bathroom all stripped out ✅
Bathroom knocked through to make bedroom a bigger size ✅
Now started stripping old plaster off the walls teady to be plastered boarded with new ones to match wall in together and skimmed ✅

Waiting on building inspector tomorrow to open up new upper floor ready for a new bedroom and en-suite to be built up 👌💯

The lads have grafted well on this one alot has been doNe since we started this project 🧱🧱

SELF BUILD UPDATE

Chipboards all in ✅
Stud walls all in - 4 bedrooms with 4 en-suites ✅
Plumbing work all ✅
Plyboards been put in to hang radiators on ✅ insulation all put in on the front for glass pqmel to go on ✅
Damps put in on back bio-fold doors ✅

Windows ready to go in tomorrow 👌💯

Just need to get some plasterboards now for down stairs. 100 fireboards, 30 moisture boards, 50 standard boards

The house is getting there now its been big build but slowly getting there as have my other jobs to do in between 🧱🧱🧱

DOUBLE STOREY EXTENSION UPDATE - FOREST HALL.

Two roofs cut back and stripped off today ✅
Membrane put on to stop any penetrating water getting into ceilings ✅
Taped down and latted to make it watertight ✅
Pebble dash took off above the roof ✅
Electrics all taped up individually and bagged up and then re-taped again to make them watertight to stop any tripping ✅

All ready to start building upper floor now.

What a mess it is underneath the roof.

Plumbing pipes all over like a roller coaster up and down.

Plasterboards just hidding in roof smashed in pieces.

Chimney stack not structured or supported correctly it has a big hole in it so could capsize.

Other internal walls coming up through the ceiling and supporting on roof joists.

Stack soil/ drainage pipe hidding in the ceiling and just left so odours are travelling around in the ceiling instead of the stack pipe/flue coming through the roof to prevent any smells/odours.

Everythings just been hidding inside of the sloped roof and put in anyway possible.

Not what we wanted to come across as extra work for us to put in but dont know what your going to come across until its been exposed as this should of just been a nice easy take off but nothing my lads cant sort out and get over. A-Team, Proper Grafters 👌💯

We will find the upper floor heights tomorrow, to see where the new floor joists are sitting and cut out internal door way if possible (depensing on measurements) and then get padstone and steels inserted 😀

Trench all dug out ✅
Foundation all levelled out ✅
concrete foundation poured ✅
Blockwork wall all built up ✅

All ready to be timber framed out and new latted fence put on top of the wall and driveway to be installed.

The lads have been busy on this one whilst i was on holiday last week.

Aitting eoom door boarded uo for dust 👍
Walls stripped back to brick ✅
Internal foundation put in for internal wall ✅
New internal wall built in kitchen ✅
Starter bars on each side of new wall ✅
Stell fixing in on parrty wall and new cavity internal wall✅
Insulation all put on ✅
Windows stripped out for kitchen to be opened up ✅
Acro props put in ✅
Knock through all done ✅
All electric wires in the kitchen took out, cut back and taped up ✅
