The transition is complete! From Property Sourcing/Private investment agency to Estate Agency.
Why? I’ve been sourcing bespoke investments for the last 7 years, completed on 100s of property deals for investors & alongside other sourcers. As much as I’ve enjoyed it and it’s given me my portfolio & helped with my dream home, it’s not really all that much of a business you can scale heavily without burying yourself.
Having an Estate Agents has been on my mind for a long time but held off due to a number of reasons including flexibility which sourcing does give you but my biggest issue with sourcing was once you stop, it stops.
It is such a unique job/business & replacing yourself is extremely difficult. Estate Agency is something you can scale and control. Much easier to build a team round you to help growth.
I thought I’d be able to do both, but I soon realised in a short time that wasn’t going to be possible due to the time the Estate Agency takes. Pick one and send it as they say.
I’m sure I’ll still be involved in investments and have already sold a considerable amount through the agency through my network but for new investors looking for a 1-1 level I will be referring to people I know and trust.
So here’s to the next chapter! 🏡 🔑
