Heaton Property is an award winning full service estate agency based on Heaton Road in Newcastle upon Tyne. Our lettings team specialises in providing rental property for professionals in Newcastle upon Tyne and the surrounding areas. Our company focus is on sales, residential property lettings and management. We also offer services including block management, property investment, maintenance and building refurbishments to landlords with property in the region.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a leading independent property agency. You will be involved in all aspects of the lettings side of our growing company and will be expected to learn about, understand and assist the team with the day to day running of the company and help achieve our goals.

Experience within the property industry is preferred. The role will cover a wide range of duties such as dealing with enquiries from prospective tenants, arranging and accompanying viewings, creating marketing packs for properties, advertising, assisting with property handovers, general correspondence and logging information into our property management software.

You will be working within the Heaton Property team in and out of the office environment and dealing with clients face to face and on the phone, so a 'can do' attitude is a prerequisite. You will need excellent communication skills, a strong, friendly personality and an eye for detail. We are a multidisciplinary team and frequently adapt our roles so, ideally, you will have an understanding of lettings and relevant legislation. You will be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

We expect all of our team to work towards industry qualifications and CPD is actively encouraged. You should have a full and clean driving licence.

Starting Salary: £20,000 - £22,500 per annum

Hours: 40 per week

Heaton Property operates during the following hours:

Monday to Thursday: 9.00am and 5.30pm
Friday: 9.00am to 5.00pm
Saturdays: 10.00am to 2.00pm
