🎣 Well and truly hooked on catfish! 🎣

Oscar, 10, and Dad caught their first catfish at Centre Lake back in May and it’s safe to say they’ve been well and truly hooked ever since! 😍🎣

Since then, Oscar has landed two around 15lb, a 20lb and a fantastic 25lb catfish, as well as some smaller ones. 💪🐟

And Dad finally got in on the action yesterday with an incredible 36lb catfish! 😮👏

After 13 sweltering hours of waiting for the water to cool enough for the fish to start feeding, it was certainly worth the wait!

What a brilliant family catfishing adventure — and we have a feeling there’ll be plenty more to come! 🎣🔥

👀 It’s finally happened…

We’ve been waiting for one… and at last, we’ve received a catch photo from Bean Lake! 🎣🙌

A big congratulations to Tony, who caught this stunning fish during a session in July 2026. Unfortunately, the scales weren’t nearby, so there’s no official weight but we’re sure you’ll agree it’s an absolute cracker! 🐟✨

Bean Lake doesn’t give up its fish easily, making catches like this all the more rewarding.

🎣 Have you fished Bean Lake recently? Tell us how you got on below, or if you’ve got a photo from Bean (or any of our lakes), send it to us on WhatsApp. We’d love to feature your catch next!
