The building was previously St Catherine's Nursing Home, and is being converted by an amazing team, into 9 luxury apartments.

Struggling to sell/rent a property?

I've just caught up on The Savoy series.

The hotel is luxury at it's best, with a 5 star rating by Forbes Travel Guide.

It's somewhere I've always wanted to go, based on the first impressions I got from pictures I've seen, and driving past the entrance. It's on my vision board, and I've broken it down to 3 separate wishes on my Top 100 list, to make it more achievable.

1. Drinking cocktails in the American Bar, including the famous Hanky Panky, the first cocktail invented at the Savoy, by Ada Coleman
2. Eating in the Savoy Grill
3. Staying overnight

If you are looking for high end, luxury finishes, this is the package for you

Furniture/staging packages are available for 6 weeks rental, with the option to extend, if required.

We source, deliver and install. All we need is the keys to the property, and we'll do the rest.

Buyers have the option to purchase the package of staging furniture/accessories, which offers you a unique selling point. This is particularly appealing to first time buyers, as they can purchase 'display only' furniture at highly discounted prices.

A recent loveproperty.com article about renovation / refurbishments, reported that following a survey...

Unanticipated costs:

31% underestimated problems arising that require more time and money

60% said that finances are the biggest cause of stress during renovations/refurbishments

26% borrowed money from family or friends to complete the work

Cardiff are just below London for blowing the budget, with the average renovation project going £3,041 over budget.

Lessons learned:

Changing aspects of the work during the build/refurbishment project, increased cost and time

Living at the property during the renovation, caused additional stress

Went with the cheapest quote rather than the most capable tradesperson or company
