Eden Gate is delighted to announce another valuable partnership with CRASH, the construction industry charity.
Through this partnership, CRASH has provided a generous grant towards the development of our Skills Training Centre. Thanks to the support of CRASH’s Patron Partners, Taylor Wimpey and Dulux, we have also been able to secure the roller pan mixer and all the paint needed to decorate our main training area and office spaces.
Our guests, volunteers and staff have been putting the donated paint to good use, working together to transform the centre as we prepare for our grand opening.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to CRASH, Taylor Wimpey and Dulux for their generosity and continued support. Partnerships like these are helping us bring the Skills Training Centre to life and create new opportunities for the people we support.

A lot of work has been going on behind the scenes at the Eden Gate Skills Training Centre.
Staff and guests have been working together to clean and buff the floors. After a number of trips back and forth with our machines, we're one step closer to getting the Centre ready for the training programme.

We were delighted to welcome Careers Wales to the new Skills Training Centre yesterday. Alongside their usual weekly one to one support for guests at our Hill Street premises, the wider team stepped in to help prepare our main training space for decorating by Eden Gate guests. The team rolled up their sleeves to wash walls and brush floors, ready for us to use an industrial cleaning machine to bring the floor surface back to its former glory.

Eden Gate is grateful for our ongoing partnership with Careers Wales - we are aware of how vital partnership working is in helping transform the lives of the guests who access our services. Our plan is to launch the new centre on 14th September so with much still to do, the amazing effort made by Careers Wales staff really helped us towards our deadline.

A massive THANK YOU from all at Eden Gate!

For the last few years guests at Eden Gate have been working hard to transform our back garden. As this project nears completion, we are grateful for the ongoing support of the Alacrity Foundation in providing some beautiful plants to enhance the space.
As always, we cannot do all that we do at Eden Gate without our amazing partners - thank you!

As we move towards the opening of the new Eden Gate Skills Training Centre in September 2026, we're pleased to announce our partnership with Working Wardrobe, who are kindly providing new personal protective equipment (PPE) for Eden Gate guests participating on the course. Not only will this help instil a sense of pride in our guests, it will also help to develop a sense of personal responsibility. The PPE is personal issue and will be retained by guests as they move towards employment. Thanks Working Wardrobe!
