It was great to attend the Maesteg Community Drop-In Session and engage with residents, local businesses and stakeholders about the future of the town.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to present three developments currently progressing in Maesteg including Old Drill Hall, Ewenny Road and Maesteg Campus. Each scheme represents an important part of the wider regeneration work, from bringing new life to a historic building, to supporting local opportunity and investing in skills and education for the long term.
As an informal informational session, the afternoon allowed for open discussion, questions and early feedback. Engagement like this is essential in building strong local relationships and ensuring that development reflects the priorities of the people who live and work in Maesteg.
