Something pretty special is happening on Great Western Beach this Saturday as surfers come together to attempt a world record for the most surfers riding one wave at the same time! 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️🏄‍♂️🌊

The event kicks off at 1pm, with a mandatory safety briefing before participants hit the water.

And it’s not just about the world record… there’ll be loads happening on the beach throughout the day, including:

🏄 Surf competitions
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family & beach activities
🍔 Food & drink stalls
🎶 Live music
🎧 A DJ at sunset
🌊 And, of course, hopefully a little bit of history being made!

Participation tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s, with surfboard and wetsuit hire also available.

If you’re not getting in the water, get down to Great Western Beach, enjoy the atmosphere and cheer everyone on. It should be an amazing sight!
