He has added a little colour to a couple of the old pics we'd posted.

Hi Everyone 🤗

Back in April I shared a photograph of a neighbouring Cottage with traditional Haystacks in the field behind it.

At the time I used that photo because I wanted you all to see the style of Haystacks that once formed such an iconic part of our Countryside - especially as we've been working tirelessly to recreate these traditional structures here at Millers Close 🛖

Our Vision for Millers Close has always been simple :-
To Turn Our Past Into Our Future.💛

We don't just want to offer our guests somewhere to stay. We want to give them a story, a piece of history and memories to last a lifetime.

One thing had always disappointed me though.....
Despite our old Farmhouse being one of the most photographed properties in NI, I could never find an old photo showing the homestead with the traditional Haystacks standing proudly beside it.

Eventually I resigned myself to believing no such photo existed.
Well..... I'm not disappointed anymore.

I FOUND IT 🤸🥹

And to us this isn't just an old photo.... It's priceless!!

It's a glimpse into our history, a reminder of what we've come from and incredibly a picture of the very past we are now working so incredibly hard to bring back to life.

And this photo will be cherished by our family for many, many years to come.
