My kitchen is long and narrow and lacks character. I’m considering moving the kitchen into the dining room and dining area into the existing kitchen rather than extending.
It’s a better shaped room and will improve functionality.
This is my first attempt at the design it still needs a little work. I’ve already decided to lift the breakfast up and have more workspace underneath.
There’ll be a tall appliances bank to the left incorporating pyrotechnic oven (self cleaning), combi microwave (oven/microwave), warming draw, fridge/freezer and a full height pull out larder. In this one area I’ll have all the storage for cool and dry food and cooking facilities plus extra storage above and below the ovens.
Dishwasher, 1 1/2 bowl sink (a must), induction hob, cutlery draw and 2 pan drawers underneath then a corner pull out to the right and breakfast bar seating up to 4.
Still need to decide on the door style and colour but you get the gist.
Do I go with a two tone of dark and light grey or maybe even the dark blue and light grey which also looks stunning.
Decisions decisions ..... hope you like it so far!
