Today’s Introduction to AI session at the Veterans Centre explored how tools such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini can help with everyday tasks, spark ideas and make learning easier—with time to ask questions and have a go!

Would you like to understand AI better but aren’t sure where to start? Join a future session for a friendly, practical introduction. You don’t need to be a computer expert—just curious!

Good evening.

The pictures below are from our newly formed War Gamming Group. Pictures show a period from the Tudor War of The Roses up to a modern Exercise carried out in West Germany to combat the Russian threat at the time.

The Group will be open this Saturday as part of the Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club meeting. Although they are on the 2nd Floor we have full disabled access with the use of a lift.

If you are interested please come along and meet Russ and Tim who run the group. ( after you have had a very good breakfast in the Ration Pack Cafe)

In one picture you can see Russ getting a game ready for this evenings programme.
The group meets on Wednesday evenings 18.00- 21.00 or as long as it takes)

90% of the buildings have been built using our 3D suite. Another very popular activities.

The AFVBC this Saturday 09.30 - 11.30 . The war gaming will be open until 15.30.
