At Centara Utility Mapping Services we provide our customers with an end to end solution for underground Utility Mapping and Geophysical Site Investigation Services. We source all known utility and environmental records prior to any site investigation, we then carry out the survey using the most up to date, state of the art equipment, in the hands of some of the most experienced operatives in the UK. We provide our services to Utilities and DNO’s, Electrical Alliances, The National Grid, Utility Service Providers, Residential, Commercial and Industrial Developers, Builders, Architects, Solicitors, Consultancies, Local Authorities, City Councils, Dig and No Dig service providers amongst many others. Centara operatives have amassed many years of experience within the industry, specialising in high voltage power networks, utilising leading edge GSSI Ground Penetrating Radar, Radiodetection RD1000, we also have a range RD4000, RD8000 and RD7000 Electro-magnetic utility detection devices, Trimble Robotic Total Stations as well as Leica GPS Smart Rover systems. All our operatives are fully trained in the use of their equipment; all are accredited to the following: NRASWA, Confined Spaces, BESC, CSCS, Passport to Safety, Signing Lighting and Guarding, National Grid Persons, National Grid Competent Persons (Full and Limited). CAD Services
At Centara we provide an end to end CAD Bureau Service, our CAD operatives are fully conversant with AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation, we can output drawings to .dwg .dxf .dgn and .pdf formats. We can create drawings from scratch, following engineering sketches, we can also modify existing drawings again from marked up sketches. Our CAD operatives are fully conversant with utility engineering drawings such as Wiring Diagrams and Schematics, legal drawings such as Wayleaves and Easement plans, deed plans, sale plans, we can also produce Capital Scheme Drawings showing proposed Multi-Utility Layouts, As Built/As Installed drawings, Route Plans, Civil drawings and many other drawing types. We can also work with hybrid drawings, raster/vector drawings, we can provide complete raster to vector conversions through either CAD tracing or through recognised raster to vector conversion software. Our CAD bureau service is backed up by a full printing service, we can print in both full colour and black & white monochrome drawings to A0 size, utilising our large format Canon, Xerox and HP plotters, we can also scan existing colour and B&W drawings and posters up to A0 in size, these drawings can be modified and saved into various formats.
