🎶✨ What a fantastic afternoon we had! ✨🎶
We were delighted to enjoy some wonderful entertainment from the lovely Sparky & Sprite Entertainment🎤🎵
Our ladies and gents had a brilliant time singing along to all the music, enjoying the atmosphere, and having lots of fun together. 💃🕺❤️

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and happy memories made — just the perfect way to spend an afternoon! 🌟

A huge thank you to Sparky and Sprite for entertaining us so wonderfully. We can’t wait to see you again! 🥰🎶

🌿👟 A lovely one-to-one afternoon! 👟🌿
This afternoon, gill enjoyed a special one-to-one outing to the garden centre to pick up some lovely new shoes. 👟😊
While we were there, Gill had a wonderful time having a look around, especially enjoying the aquarium 🐠, beautiful plants 🌱 and watching the team busy setting up their Halloween 🎃 and Christmas 🎄 displays!
It was a lovely afternoon filled with plenty to see, chat about and enjoy. ❤️ We always love making the most of our one-to-one time and creating special memories together!

🎶💃 What an amazing time we had at the fabulous Dementia Sings Out this morning! 💃🎶

The room was filled with music, singing, dancing and plenty of tambourine shaking! 🪇🎵 There were smiles all around as our residents and Lifestyle team came together with everyone to enjoy such a wonderful morning.

A huge thank you to the always amazing Simon with Sunset Magic for providing the fantastic singing and creating such a joyful atmosphere. 🌟🎤

It was the perfect way to start the day, and we’re already looking forward to next week’s session! ❤️

Our lovely ladies and gent enjoyed a fun afternoon in the dining room, putting their brains to the test with Crosswords and Lingo on the digital tablet! 📱🧩
With our Lifestyle team and carers joining in, there was plenty of laughter, teamwork and some serious head-scratching as everyone racked their brains for the answers! 🤔💭
It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, keeping their minds active and, most importantly, having lots of fun together. ❤️👏
Well done, everyone — what a brilliant afternoon! 🌟

🙏⛪ TIMKEN WORSHIP THIS MORNING ⛪🙏
What a wonderful and uplifting morning of worship we shared today! ❤️ Our ladies and gents came together for a beautiful Holy Communion service, and what a full house it was! 🥰✨
Today’s service was wonderfully resident and visitor led, creating a truly special sense of community and togetherness. 🤝❤️
🙏 We began with opening prayers, followed by readings from John 6:25–29 & 32–40 and John 5:24–25, giving us plenty to reflect upon. 📖✨
💭 We enjoyed a thoughtful and meaningful reflection with Bob, before joining together in song with some much-loved hymns, including:
🌸 All Things Bright and Beautiful
🌱 Seek Ye First
🍞 Bread of Life
🕊️ Abide with Me
❤️ Amazing Grace
🙌 Praise to the Lord, the Almighty
🎸 A very special thank you to Trevor, who led our Holy Communion and beautifully accompanied the hymns with his guitar. His music brought an extra special warmth to our worship. 🎶❤️
🙏 We finished with closing prayers and a blessing, leaving us with hearts full of peace, gratitude and joy.
It was truly lovely to see our community come together in worship, friendship and fellowship. A full house, beautiful voices and a morning filled with faith, music and reflection. ❤️⛪🎶

🎶🐠 TIMKEN SIGHTS & SOUNDS THIS MORNING! 🐠🎶
There’s something for everyone around Timken this morning! ❤️ We’ve created a lovely mix of relaxing music, classic entertainment and familiar favourites for our ladies and gents to enjoy. 😊
🐠☕ In the Tearoom: Our aquarium is providing a peaceful view while relaxing music plays in the background — the perfect setting to sit back with a cuppa and unwind. 🎵🫖
🎶💿 In the Bar: We’re enjoying Roy Robinson playing on the record player, bringing some wonderful familiar sounds to our morning. ❤️
📺🎬 Across our Lounges: We have some much-loved favourites on the screen, including the great classic Only Fools and Horses 😂, Songs of Praise ⛪🎶 and André Rieu in Concert 🎻✨.
From peaceful moments to plenty of nostalgia, there’s lots to see, hear and enjoy throughout the home today! 🥰🌟

🇳🇵🚴 WE DID IT… AND THEN WE DID IT AGAIN! 🚴🇳🇵

What an incredible achievement from our residents, team, relatives and supporters at Timken Grange! ❤️

We started our Bhote Koshi Challenge – Cycling for Nepal with a target of 146KM.

But Team Timken didn’t stop there…

We turned around and cycled all the way back! 🚴💪

🎉 FINAL DISTANCE: 292KM! 🎉
🔥 DOUBLE OUR ORIGINAL TARGET! 🔥

Every kilometre tells a story – from our wonderful residents getting on the bikes and contributing what they could, to team members clocking up the kilometres and everyone cheering each other on.

There have been tired legs, plenty of laughter, determination and some very competitive cycling 😂 – but most importantly, we did it together. ❤️

This challenge began because two valued members of our team are from Nepal. We wanted to stand beside them and show that when something affects members of our Timken family, we come together. 🇳🇵

A HUGE WELL DONE and THANK YOU to everyone who cycled, donated, shared our posts, encouraged our residents or supported us in any way.
