A fantastic week with three boiler repairs done within 48 hours, two license inspections completed and all scheduled to work done and finally four rooms reserved this week with 12 on rotation pending or just finishing their tenancies 🏠 🏠 🏠

Low batteries in a smoke alarm and probably one of the most frustrating things tenants. I appreciate not everyone’s capable of opening a smoke alarm and changing the battery so we’re happy to go round as and when necessary change these batteries for the tenants sanity.

So we received a one star review from an next tenant who attempted to take us to a solicitors over some water coming off a shower cubicle and an excessive charge for tenancy cleaning. I’ve responded to the negative review but I’ve also placed on the review a chance for the general public to come here and have a look at the state of the flat. Would you allow someone to move in in a property like this just because the tenant claims they cleaned it to the best of their ability? Negative reviews are really harmful to a business if they only show one side of someone’s grievance and I’m happy to post the reality of the opposite or at least the balance of our side where we can. On our website as part of our complaints process if someone does provide a negative review we also mention in advance that we will post any information regarding that review to challenge the response and here you can clearly see if all is to let somebody move into this property without taking action just because the tenant claim they cleaned then it would be a very bad problem for me and the new incoming tenant.

Food left in the fridge
Hair in the fridge
Tissue and toilet roll end and other items left in bin without a bag
Dust on all skirting in all rooms as well as windows
Food debris in all kitchen cupboards
Food stains on window blinds
Toilet / sink and shower inc floor covered in human body hair
Food and debris on carpets
Food in the oven
Food in kitchen sink plug ( bad smell )
Filter on washing machine blocked

Magical Views ! This three bedroom semi has just been placed on the market for let and has had a new redecoration throughout, new heating , fire service , new flooring , all major repairs done and a new oven along with newly fitted bathroom extraction. The electric system has also been upgraded too
