Another job we’ve been working on….. open plan kitchen diner, then double doors to the living room, full plaster and new kitchen, plumbing and electrics.

Due to the design on the rear of the house, we had to also fit a steel post and build a new foundation using the structural engineers specs. Bit more work than expected, but it’s turning out nice. Also RSJ fitted between lounge and dining room.

Will have this all wrapped up soon and will get some finished photos posted.

Some of the fire proof acoustic insulation between the flats, and celotex in the vaulted section up stairs in the kitchen. Trying to not only get the EPC up, but also make it cheap to run for the tenants, minimal heat loss and sound/fire proof and private as possible.

And following on from the last post, here is the first floor flat, second fix electrics done, new meter coming tomorrow and more second fix carpentry getting started. flats separated with 1hr fire check, acoustic insulation and double acoustic ceiling boards.

Not shared many updates of the pair of flats recently due to other work commitments, a holiday, and a few minor set backs we’ve had to deal with…. But there has been plenty of work going on.

Here’s a few pictures of the first flat, fully damp proofed, insulated and 1hr fire check between flats, then plastered and mist coated, just beginning the second fix carpentry.

Been a while since we’ve posted, so here’s a before and after of a mid 3 bed terrace we sold 2 years back.

Currently waiting on the land registry updating title deeds, before we can complete on the next project, anyone dealing with them will know how long the delays have been since covid.
