Safe to say, we have aaaalll been enjoying Pastry Fridays at Soul Kitchen. It has been an absolute joy to work with an artisan baker in Cristina, and boy you folks have kept us busy on these days the past few weeks 😅

Keeping it fresh is important, so as of tomorrow, we will have new bakes available from The Naked Sourdough as the Autumn menu is here!

Open from 9:30am tomorrow, come and grab a coffee and a treat you will not be disappointed.

Similar menu to last week, with the addition of a creamy crab bisque. While the beautiful local pears that have kindly been donated will find their way into one of my all-time favourites, Anjou Pear Cake ❤️🍐🇫🇷

Scottish Borders National Day is getting an extra sprinkling of Christmas magic this year, with our fabulous new Christmas Market, on one of our biggest racedays of 2026.

Shop for Christmas presents from a fantastic selection of local businesses, whilst trackside there will be superb, quality racing with more than £200,000 in prize money, including the Bruce Farms Scottish Borders National Steeplechase.

Expect top-class Jump Racing, a brilliant festive atmosphere, seasonal hospitality and plenty of reasons to make a day of it. And with one public enclosure at Kelso, you can get right up close to the action in the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure throughout the afternoon.

Limited Early Bird tickets are available now, book yours, bring the family, get some Christmas shopping ticked off and enjoy a festive day at the races.

There is also limited hospitality space, the perfect idea for your Christmas Parties.

Join us at ReTweed for our relaxed, self-led Creative Workshop Sessions. Bring along your sewing, crafting or creative project and enjoy a dedicated space to make, create and connect.

🗓️ Thursdays | 10am–2pm
💷 £6 per person – includes use of a sewing machine

Our space includes:
🪡 6 hireable sewing machines
🪑 Dedicated desk workspace
✂️ Sewing tools, scissors & haberdashery
☕ Tea & coffee
🧵 Threads, ribbon, buttons & a selection of zips
✨ Friendly, relaxed atmosphere

Fabric and interfacing aren’t included, but our donated fabric is available to purchase on the day for £10 per kg.
