Full job description
Norwich Accommodation Agency is a reputable, well established and expanding property management company looking for a full time Lettings Negotiator to work in a busy office. We have recently transitioned to an employee ownership trust so staff can benefit from an annual £3,600 tax-free bonus (included in the stated salary) and from the end of next year a share of the company profits.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

- Dealing with general enquiries from landlords and tenants.
- Interviewing and dealing with applications from prospective tenants from the initial enquiry through to completion.
- Organising maintenance and repairs, obtaining quotes and issuing works orders.

- Interim inspections.

- Preparing and checking inventories.

- Deposit negotiations.
- Use of our in-house property management software.

The ideal candidate will need to have:

- Professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Excellent customer service, administration & communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Full training will be provided so previous experience in Residential Lettings and Property Management is not essential.

- UK driving licence

We are currently looking for a Lettings Consultant to join our team, an independent Letting Agency in the Norwich area. Full training will be provided so previous experience in Residential Lettings and Property Management is not essential.

Working Days:

As a Lettings Consultant, you will be required to work Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings. For every Saturday you work, you will receive an afternoon off in the week.

The successful Lettings Consultant will be offered:

A basic salary of £22,000
Up to £26,000 including commission
Ongoing training and support.
To be considered for the Lettings Consultant role you must have the following:

Professional and friendly telephone manner
Excellent customer service, administration & communication skills
Good computer skills
Full driving licence
Career minded approach
High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Customer service background
As a Lettings Consultant, your role will involve:

Dealing with general enquiries from landlords and tenants
Matching ideal tenants to each property
Use of our in-house property management software
Compiling and checking inventories
Interviewing and dealing with applications from prospective tenants from the initial enquiry through to the completion
Coordinating & conducting interim property inspections and end-of-tenancy inspections
Organising maintenance and repairs, obtaining quotes and issuing works orders
Conducting viewings.
