Sometimes moving day calls for a little improvisation.

Wardrobe boxes are available on request for clothes on hangers, but sometimes there are simply more hanging clothes than the number of wardrobe boxes available on the day.

That was the case on today’s move from Kimberley to Watnall, so the team came up with another way to keep the remaining clothes hanging and organised during the move.

A little bit of thinking outside the box — quite literally. 😄

There’s a lot that can be worked out before moving day even arrives.

Around a month before yesterday’s move, we arranged a home visit with the customer so we could assess the property, access and the furniture that would need dismantling and reassembly.

After seeing everything in person, we recommended three movers as the most suitable option for their move.

The customer also asked us to bring wardrobe boxes for their clothes on hangers. These are available to our customers free of charge on request and make transporting hanging clothes much easier.

Every move is different, and being able to see the property beforehand can help us recommend the most suitable option and prepare the right equipment.

Although, as anyone who has been through a UK house move will know, there is one thing nobody can completely plan for — the property chain and that all-important key release! 😅🔑

It’s always great to welcome a returning customer.

After recently helping this customer with their main house move, they contacted us again to collect some additional belongings from their parents’ home in Walton on the Hill, Staffordshire, and deliver them to their new home in Nottingham.

Not every move comes with convenient parking!

Today’s job in Nottingham city centre meant there was no parking available directly outside the apartment entrance, so the team had to park the van across the street in a loading bay.

That’s when the trolley really earns its keep! 😁📦 It made getting the boxes safely between the property and the van much easier.
