Mainly from 9am to 5pm every day of the week to service the rooms and public areas.
We seek flexible staff to enable us to construct a rota that works 7 days a week who are extremely organised, having very high standards of cleanliness and to adhere to our brand standards in each room.
We offer a friendly working environment and welcome applications from hardworking and diligent people with some experience in hotels or serviced apartments.
Please note that this role requires movement up and down flights of stairs and movement of bed linen, cleaning equipment, and so would require a physical capability to do so.
You must be self-employed.
Job Description
Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
Dusting, brushing, polishing furniture.
Cleaning the public areas regularly and daily up to the highest standards and with attention to detail.
Cleaning appliances and structural surfaces (e.g. cookers, wall fixtures, window and window sills).
Cleaning crockery, utensils and all other kitchen items.
Changing linen, making beds and checking for damaged linen.
Emptying linen from housekeeping cart into laundry cart.
Linen laundry duties.
Cleaning showers, toilets, sinks and bathroom items.
Replenishing guest amenities and supplies.
Inspecting rooms for safety hazards and for the operating condition of equipment and reporting problems to management.
Reporting lost and found articles, maintenance problems, or special room problems (e.g. pets in the room) to management.
Maintaining storage rooms.
Advising management when the apartments are ready or completed.
Ensuring all rooms are available and ready for check in from 3pm each day.
Providing information to guests about hotel services, facilities and other amenities where possible or refer the guests to Management.
Providing information to guests about local attractions/services where possible or to refer the guests to Management.
Preparing rooms for guest arrival and responding to special guest requests, such as cleaning a spill.
Listening to guests’ requests or complaints and advising management.
To be responsible for room keys whilst in your care.
To show willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
To ensure that you comply with the company dress code at all times.
Other duties as defined as reasonable by the management team.
