Announcement 📣
CAMA will move into a new 27,500 sq. ft. unit at our Airport Business Park Southend (ABPS).
We have secured planning permission for this new, 27,500 sq. ft. unit which will be purpose built for CAMA Assetstore, sustainability-focused storage and asset management facility specialising in the reuse of sets, props & costumes for film & TV.
Speaking of the news, CAMA's Managing Director
Michaele Apostolides said: "We are seeing a positive change in the film industry, with a commitment to the efficient reuse of sets, props and costumes. It is this passion for storage and reuse of production assets that is driving our development in Southend.
"We love East London and Essex so having a base here is an exciting opportunity for our independent business. We particularly look forward to launching our social value initiatives in the local area, where the community can also benefit from our reuse and repurposing service."
ABPS forms part of an ambitious new vision for Southend-on-Sea, a £150m investment to deliver high quality space and infrastructure.
We are delivering the scheme in partnership 🤝 with Southend-on-Sea City Council; our colleague Harry Bunbury, added: “ABPS is an important development, driving new inward investment and acting as a catalyst for growth and enterprise, attracting businesses of all sizes and in a range of sectors from start-ups through to large corporates."
