Comfort Estates A Modern Independent Residential Estate Agency in Nottingham - Expert Marketeers

The Comfort concept was developed in late 2009 and the agency first started trading soon after in January 2010 with a temporary website erected in December 2010. Phil and Ben, both Chartered Accountants, who studied Mechanical Engineering at Nottingham University, utilised their local knowledge to buy dilapidated properties and redevelop them into accommodation for students. However, the level of

professionalism and client service that they were so used to within the accountancy sector left them feeling that there was a gap in the market for a professional agency that provided high end student accommodation. In December 2010 significant work was carried out in order to grow the business and enable the brand to gain favour in the local market with a fresh and contemporary image. Tom Kite, an experienced local lettings manager, was invited to join the team from a much larger student letting agency as he was keen to be part of something that offered a real choice. Tom’s role is to facilitate and manage Comfort on a day to day level and he has now taken up the Managing Partner role here at Comfort Letting Agents LLP.

If you’ll be paying your energy bills directly, ask whether you’ll be free to choose your own supplier.

Think you can save money with water meter? Ask the letting agent before making any plans.

Safety should always be near the top of your list when viewing a property.

Find out who will actually be managing the property and who your first point of contact will be when you need help.

Already imaging different colour on the living room wall?

Ask first.

If you have a pet, ask about the property’s per policy before getting too attached.

Don’t assume everything you see during the viewing will be staying. Ask the letting agent exactly what furniture and appliances will be included when you move in.

Find out roughly how old the boiler is and when it was last serviced.
