Here, we removed the old bannisters and spindles, and after re fixing one of the newel posts, we cladded the existing posts in oak kits. New hand and base rails were also installed. I then created the templates for 10mm toughened glass and ensured the staircase was safe whilst this was being cut. Once the glass was ready, I returned to create the finished look - what a transformation.

New en-suite fitted!

Here we took out the old en-suite which half worked and replaced everything with a new tray, wall panels shower and screen. A new rad, vanity unit and toilet was installed.
A herringbone spc floor was fitted as well. Nick Astill did the plumbing as always 👌.

Onto the main bathroom in a few weeks.

Handmade MDF Storage & Display Unit

A nice job where we machined up some timber and rebated it around the picture to match the smaller one of the two. It was then spray painted in Matt black to match in colour. Then both pictures were hung.

We have been back at the local infant school this week enjoying the sun 😅
We removed the old rotten panels and posts. We then fitted new panels and concrete gravel board. The timber post was set wider to allow a bigger opening to help the bins through with the gate being made to fit.

The materials was supplied by WL Timber.

Here, we added a beading detail to the entrance, landing and stairs. This has added a lovely cohesive detail through out. We can’t wait to see this decorated!

Here, underfloor heating and new herringbone floors were laid on the ground and first floor. This raised the floor heights by 35mm, which upset the riser heights on the first and last tread on the stairs, making them uneven. First, I cut the nose of the original treads and then cut an 18mm mdf as a packing piece; then with 6mm plywood, I fit a face and new riser 5mm over the packer height. Another mdf tread was cut, routed to form a bullnosed edge that sat over the top raising every tread by 36mm. The stairs are now ready for painting and a runner to go up the centre.
