A stroll through Oxford City at the weekend in the sunshine. Taking in parks, bridges, wildlife along the river as well as the hustle and bustle of the city.

Park at Redbridge Park & Ride which is close to Nuneham - 10 minutes - and pick up the Thames Path into the city. Walk in, enjoy the City and walk back, or take the bus back!

As well as testing fire alarms and making sure we are safe, I also scan my eye around the properties💕

Emily and the team Hostsmart provide the housekeeping service so know the properties are always cleaned to a very high standard with fluffy towels at the ready!

Reading visitor comments today this is exactly what guests comment on as well as the fact the the properties have all you need for a ‘home from home’ stay.

🎄 Christmas is coming around quickly… so why not make a weekend of it?

Last year, we welcomed lots of guests who used Nuneham Estate as their base for a little Christmas shopping.

Oxford is just a short drive away, or venture a little further to Bicester Village for designer shopping, festive atmosphere and plenty of lovely places to stop for lunch or a well-earned coffee. 🛍️✨

Then, when you have had enough of the hustle and bustle, head back to the peace and quiet of the Nuneham Estate, put your feet up and recharge the batteries.

Christmas shopping without having to rush home afterwards sounds rather good to us! 🎄

The Wild Pig is a lovely little farm shop with a café, grill and bar and well worth a visit during your stay.

There’s plenty of outside space, walking routes to explore and animals to see too. 🐷🌳☕️

It’s only around 10 minutes from the Holiday Lets, so perfect for a coffee, something to eat or a little wander.

Do check their opening hours before setting off, as these can vary. 😊
