A specialised beehive floor made by us in our Devon workshop. This underfloor entrance moves the entry point underneath the frames rather than at the front.
These underfloor entrances are perfect for

🐝Shelter on the landing board.
🐝Dry entrance, as driving rain cannot seep into the hive
🐝Wasps & predator bees find the entrance difficult to negotiate
🐝 Bees in the hive find it easier to defend.
🐝Helps defend against Mice and other vermin gaining entry.

Made from European Redwood and fitted with a correx tray and galvanised ventilated varroa mesh.

Made by National Bee Supplies in our Devon Workshop.

Our Bees are feeling the heat! 🌞🐝

Why Do Honey Bees Beard?

Bearding usually occurs in hot and humid weather, although it can also be a sign that there’s not enough space in a hive.
