Great Burrow is included in the Sunday Times '50 Cool Cottages of Britain and Ireland'. Great Burrow Cottage is a detached former Linhay set in the grounds of Great Burrow Farmhouse - a beautiful Grade II listed, thatched house dating from the 16th century. The cottage has a wood-fired hot tub in the garden under the willows, views over the pond to the northern high Tors of Dartmoor and is surrounded by footpaths one of which leads to the local pub. Perfect for a romantic retreat or an active family holiday. The cottage has underfloor heating and wood burner inside, hot tub and firepit outside. So many fantastic walks on the moor and the glorious North Cornwall coastline is less than 30 minutes drive away at Bude. Locally there is everything from golf to pony trekking, mountain biking to bird watching and some particularly good pubs and restaurants.
