Hi everyone 😎, we are all ready for one of our regular guests this weekend, who is visiting his lovely family. We appreciate you choosing Spire View Cottage again, Steve; it means the world to us. The new management team at the Robin Hood in Clifton Reynes are opening their doors for the first time this afternoon. We wish Mark and Petra the best of luck, so if you are in the area, pop along and say hello (and buy beer, of course). The weather looks a bit hit and miss this weekend, but lovely to have an extra day off to enjoy our beautiful town. What a fabulous afternoon in Olney yesterday ❤️ the Olney Rugby Club had their fabulous bike event in glorious sunshine ☀️ There were all sorts of motorcycles, from old to new, and lots of enthusiasts, delighted to tell you more about their amazing vehicles. Today I had my friends daughter from Australia visit, who happens to be called Grace, after our beautiful Olney Hymn ❤️ we had pancakes in the parlour, visited the museum so that she could learn all about Newton and Cowper, and of course the Olney Hymns. We then visited St.Peter and St.Pauls church. It was a whistle stop visit, but she is in the area for a few months, so with her annual ticket for the museum, I am sure she will be back again 💕 Thank you Grace for visiting Olney x

Good evening 😊 I would like to say thank you to our lovely weekend guests, who stayed at Spire View Cottage, whilst visiting friends and family in Olney. They had traveled from Northern Ireland, and they loved Olney (of course they did!). They shopped, ate and drank in our lovely bars and restaurants, and said they enjoyed everything Olney has to offer. Please come back again soon Joe. Now to get ready for our next guests, who like Joe, are visiting family in our beautiful town. We still have availability for September, including BOFF weekend, so if you have family or friends coming to see you to enjoy the weekend of fabulous music and great food, please get in touch if they need somewhere to stay ❤️

Hi everyone, what a lovely surprise we had this week. A last minute booking from guests who stayed last year through Airbnb, called to see if we had availability, just an hour before they were in the area 😆 and luckily we did! They came for one night, but loved it so much, they ended up staying for 3 🤣 they also got a much better rate than through Airbnb (don’t tell anyone ☺️). We will be getting ready tomorrow for Emily and her partner who are visiting family ❤️ Thank you Courtney for choosing to come back to Spire View Cottage, we hope to see you again soon x

Elizabeth and her friend attended an event at the MK Bowl, just 20 minutes from Olney.
