Job Title: 3.5t Luton Van Driver / Operative
Location: Chirk, Shropshire
Salary: from £31200/year depending on experience
Job Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and physically fit 3.5t Luton Van Driver to join our busy team. This is a hands-on role that includes heavy lifting, loading and unloading.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely drive and operate a 3.5t Luton van adhering to UK road laws.
• Load and secure household furniture and goods safely using straps and blankets.
• Work well as part of a two-person or larger team.
• Provide excellent, polite customer service during stressful moving days.
• Preparations of international shipping consignments
• Weekly collection and delivery of our growing shredding business
• Regular runs to our head office in London with shipping groupage
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance reporting
Requirements
• Valid, clean UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Proven experience driving a 3.5t Luton van.
• Physically fit with the ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
